Positive Signs

For about two years now, I have had a topo map taped over my whiteboard in the Ventura office. The map was of some of the back country on the Nevada California border.  The white board was installed back in 2006 when I used to freak out about the lack of space in the yard. I made spaces with the use of lines on the board and diligently wrote the boat owner’s name  and date of arrival in each space.

I dont know if it is the economy turning around, the weather or what, But I found the need to write down where the boats are in the yard now in an effort to organize and reconcile space in the work area of the yard. I guess this is the first positive sign I can recognize!

So as of next Wednesday our work areas will be full. Of course half of our work spaces are still jammed with loooonnnnnngg term boats which will inevitably need to be relocated, launched or rendered if things keep heading in this most optimistic direction.
